After completing my education in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, I ventured to Cape Town, where I immersed myself in the world of Graphic Design and Art Direction. These formative years were invaluable, shaping my technical skills and nurturing my innate sense of visual aesthetics.

But it was when I made the courageous decision to embrace art as my full-time vocation that my true calling began to emerge. Initially, my focus was on capturing the intricate beauty of South African wildlife in delicate watercolour paintings.

However, life has a way of guiding us down unexpected paths, and in 2019, I found myself at a crossroads. Personal circumstances prompted a profound shift in my artistic journey, leading me to explore new avenues of self-expression. My art transformed from a pursuit of commercial appeal to a deeply personal exploration of emotion and introspection.
