Artist’sBio

Allison Pilling is a South African oil painter known for her large-format works inspired by the beauty of nature, the energy of light, and the emotional resonance of colour. Influenced by the old masters yet grounded in contemporary expression, her paintings create contemplative, joyful spaces that invite viewers to pause and connect. Now based in the Cape Winelands, Allison has studied under respected mentors and refined her craft through numerous painting and sculpture workshops. Her work has been exhibited in South Africa and internationally, and is sold through exhibitions, galleries, commissions, and her online store. She recently founded Butterfly Art Studio, a curated fine art print platform with the mission of assisting artists and bringing uplifting, accessible art into homes and workspaces.
