Daria Baluta (b. 1985) is a Russian artist living and working in Cape Town, South Africa. Largely self-taught, she worked exclusively in oil up until 2024 when she found her new passion: epoxy resin. 

 In her early 20’s she moved from Moscow to Cape Town. She began experimenting and creating for fun. After many years working in the beauty industry, she decided to make art her full-time career.
