'Cosmic Sapphire' is an intense exploration of texture and movement, typical of Sannette Boshoff’s more experimental abstract works. Painted on a 40 cm (Height) x 40 cm (Width) masonite board, the piece utilizes heavy impasto and scratching techniques to create a central, explosive form that feels both celestial and organic.

The palette is a striking mix of deep midnight indigo and electric turquoise, punctuated by sharp, high-contrast flickers of lime green. The rough, tactile quality of the acrylic on the masonite substrate adds a physical depth to the "burst" at the centre of the composition, making it a powerful statement piece for contemporary interiors.
